I have been a licensed massage therapist since 2002, licensed aesthetician since 2003, then went back to school for nails in 2008. I started my business in 2003, Time Out Massage & Facial, Inc. also known as Time Out Day Spa. I started off in small office located in Deltona, FL in 2003. Then in 2006 I expanded to a bigger office located on Providence Blvd. In 2009, the economy took a turn for the worst and I decided to close business and join Full Circle Salon & Spa at their new location in DeBary, FL. I am renting space there now. I can put my focus back on taking care of my clients and doing what I enjoy doing.
Full Circle Salon & Spa is a 2,400 sq ft space. The salon is on one side and the spa is on the other side with a dividing wall between the two. The salon has 8 hair stations and 2 manicure stations. The spa side has 4 treatment rooms. One which is large enough to do couples in and the last room is set up with 2 pedicure stations. It is spacious but cozy when you get into the rooms there is soft lighting, relaxing music and the tables are nice and warm with table warmers. We offer wine, soda or water while getting hair or nail services. We give water to clients after massage or facial.
My massage technique is a medium to deep pressure. It is a combination of swedish, trigger point therapy, stretches, myofascial release, reflexology and lomi-lomi. I customize my techniques to my clients' specific needs. I also preform pre-natal massage and deep tissue.
The steps I do when performing an hour European Facial are as follows: I do a skin analysis to determine what skin type you have and what your main concerns are. From there I decide which type of facial I will do. I cleanse, exfoliate, extractions if needed, tone, massage serum and apply masque. Then I let the masque set for about 20 mins while I massage arms, hands, lower legs, feet. Then I wash hands, remove masque, apply toner, massage moisturizer and finish with a scalp massage. The half hour facial is the same as 1hr facial minus the mask and massage on legs, feet and arms. I use Dermalogica skincare products for all of my skincare needs.
Body Treatments include exfoliate, remove with hot towels and then massage on body butter. We also have wraps that help reduce toxins and hydrate the skin.
